Domestic workers can apply through three NGOs: the Indonesian Migrant Workers Union, Bethune House, and Christian Action, the foundation said in a statement on Tuesday. Eligible workers can visit the park for free either on March 29 or April 12. They will get not only a one-day ticket to Disneyland, but also vouchers for two full meals and a special snack at the park, plus an Octopus card for transport. This year, the programme will be expanded to include not only workers from the Philippines, but also those from Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Thailand. In 2024, the Li Ka Shing Foundation and Hong Kong Disneyland first gave free tickets to 4,000 Filipino domestic workers, while in 2025, they gifted park tickets to 4,200 Filipino workers. The charity was founded in 1980 by Hong Kong’s richest billionaire, Li Ka-shing. Following the fatal fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po in November, which killed 168 people, including 10 domestic workers, the foundation announced that it would donate HK$30 million to support NGOs carrying out relief work. It also contributed HK$50 million for follow-up community rebuilding efforts.
