20th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) The Education Bureau (EDB) today (20th December) announced that Tai Po Baptist Public School will relocate to the former Church of Christ in China Kei Ching Primary School campus at Fu Shin Estate, Tai Po, for the 2026/27 academic year.
The existing Tai Po Baptist Public School premises remain closed following the Wang Fuk Court fire in Tai Po and will be unavailable for some time. As an interim measure, the EDB has arranged grade‑by‑grade face‑to‑face teaching from 15th December until the end of the current school year at Tai Po Government Primary School and NTWJWA Christian Remembrance of Grace Primary School.
An EDB spokesperson said the move aims to provide students with the earliest possible return to a stable, continuous learning environment and to further safeguard their well‑being. After discussions with relevant government departments, the former Kei Ching Primary School site—previously earmarked for conversion into an integrated social service complex—will be allocated to Tai Po Baptist Public School from 2026/27, enabling all classes to reunite on a single campus for normal teaching and learning.
The EDB has established a dedicated working group to implement the relocation plan and will maintain close liaison with the school, providing appropriate support as needed.
