20th December 2025 – (Hong Kong) The latest episode of TVB current affairs programme Scoop has highlighted a series of alleged indecent incidents involving a man repeatedly exposing himself at a bus terminus in Aberdeen’s Shek Pai Wan since September, alarming local residents.
According to the report aired last night, the man has allegedly been loitering around the Yu Kwong Road bus terminus after dark and engaging in lewd behaviour. Witnesses claimed he was frequently seen putting his hand inside his trousers and making suggestive movements. On some occasions, he reportedly pulled down his trousers in public, exposing his genitals and touching himself in full view of passers-by, leaving nearby residents shocked and distressed.
The programme noted that similar public obscenity cases have been covered by Scoop on multiple occasions. As in previous reports, the segment included commentary from a barrister and a psychologist to examine the possible legal consequences and underlying psychological factors involved in such behaviour.
In line with the show’s usual style, the production team also attempted to speak directly with the man at the centre of the complaints. TVB reporter approached him on the street to ask why he had allegedly acted in this manner. She queried whether he was feeling unwell or experiencing physical discomfort, asking: “Are you not feeling well, is it itchy?” The man responded briefly: “No, no, no,” and claimed he would not repeat the behaviour in future.
When members of the crew pressed him further about his motives for exposing himself, the man gave a terse, self-deprecating reply, saying: “I’m psychologically abnormal, okay?” Despite the crude wording, his answers were relatively coherent. He acknowledged that his conduct had caused a nuisance and disturbance to residents in the area, stating: “I’m sorry to them,” and adding: “My mind isn’t balanced,” before promising: “I will definitely quit this bad habit.”
